THE DEATH OF BENAZIR... OR IS IT THE DEATH OF DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN

IS BENAZIR THE SAVIOUR OF DEMOCRACY?

NEGATIVE VIEWS:

- Benazir is accused of killing her own brother Murtaza , as stated by her niece Fatima
-She was also told to be the first ones to benefit from the 13th emergency imposed in the 60th year long existence of Pakistan.
-The Emergency laws were all flouted to ensure her comfort even within house arrest.
-Had she been such a big proponent of democracy she would have never stuck a deal with the musharraf regime.
-Benazir alongwith her husband is accused of corruption charges both within her country as well as in foreign nations of Britain and Spain.
And at last it was during her regime that the Taliban government that ran Pakistan was recognised and so isn't she to be blamed for all the fundamentalism?

BUT DESPITE ALL THIS SHE HAS BEEN A CHARISMATIC LEADER... A DARING WOMAN... ON SIMILAR LINES OF INDIRA GANDHI...WHAT DO YOU THINK? ... EXPRESS IT HERE...

Pakistan developed into a fundamentalist state, and she sure is to be blamed for that.however her death signifies the fact that the democracy can no longer be secured in such a state of matters.
